Born in Istanbul in 1982, the artist began his visual arts education at Bursa Fine Arts High School, Painting Department, and later graduated from the Graphic Design Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Throughout this period, her way of thinking and producing was shaped by an interdisciplinary approach.
While painting and illustration form the foundation of his practice, he intersects them with graphic design, typography, and poster aesthetics to create a distinctive visual language. By blending color, composition, and text, he builds dynamic and energetic visual worlds.
Deeply influenced by the punk subculture, his works centered around themes of freedom, rebellion, and personal expression feature a recurring motif of a “figure carrying a flower in its mouth,” which has evolved into an iconic signature resonating with the motto, “We are the flowers in your dustbin.”
Having participated in numerous international group exhibitions, the artist also works as an art director in advertising agencies. His creative process merges traditional and digital techniques, uniting art, design, and narrative within a single holistic vision.
